A marriage proposal is written by Anton Chekhov. it’s a dream in which he describes the odd courtship of Lomov , who seeks marriage with his neighbor’s daughter.
A marriage proposal is a very delightful and humorous drama by the eminent Russian dramatist Anton Chekhov. There are three characters in this drama Lomov , Natalie & choobookov. Lomov is a next door neighbour of Natalia & choobookov. Natalia is the daughter of choobookov who is 25. One day lomov goes to choobookovs house with a marriage proposal But there an argument is raised b/w Lomov & Natalia on an ox meadow. And they use to abuse each other. And the proposal is postponed but, Natalia begins to repent later. Again a day after, Lomov goes to their home & they become happy. But unfortunately the argument raised again that whose dog is better & lomov , who is a hypochondriac guy feels down & seems dead both father & the daughter get worried. Meanwhile lomov got his sense. Finally , choobookov gives Natalia`s hand to lomyov`s hand and ask for champagne because he wants to celebrate their marriage and at the same time he feels free by the burden of his grown-up daughter.
