1. अंत प्रजनन से आप क्या समझते हैं ?
What do you understand by inbreeding ?
Ans-: वह प्रजनन जिसमें निकट सम्बन्धी जीवों से प्राप्त युग्मकों के संयोग से पुनरुत्पादन होता है।
Reproduction in which reproduction occurs by the union of gametes obtained from closely related organisms.

2. जलपरागण से आप क्या समझते हैं? सोदाहरण बताइए
What do you mean by hydrophily ? Explain with example.
Ans-: जब नर पुष्प का परागकण दूसरे पुष्प के वर्तिकाग्र पर जल द्वारा पहुंचते हैं तो उसे जल-परागण कहते हैं। जल-परागण सामान्यतः जलीय पौधों में होता है परंतु कुछ पौधों, जैसे कमल में कीट-परागण होता है। हाइड्रिला तथा वेलिसनेरिया में जल-परागण होता है।
When the pollen of a male flower reaches the stigma of another flower through water, it is called water-pollination. Water pollination generally occurs in aquatic plants but some plants, such as lotus, have insect pollination. Water-pollination occurs in Hydrilla and Vallisneria.

3. पुनरावृत्ति सिद्धांत से आप क्या समझते हैं ?
What do you understand by Recapitulation theory
Ans-: इससे सिद्ध होता है कि प्रत्येक जीव अपने भ्रूणीय परिवर्धन में ऐसी सभी प्रावस्थाओं से गुजरता है जिन अवस्थाओं में कभी उसके पूर्वज धीरे-धीरे विकसित होकर बने होंगे
This proves that every organism passes through all such stages in its embryonic development in which its ancestors would have gradually evolved and formed.

4. मासिक धर्म चक्र क्या है? कौन-सा हॉमोन मासिक धर्म चक्र को नियंत्रित करता है ?
What is menstrual cycle ? Which hormone regulates menstrual cycle?
Ans-: यदि डिंबक्षरण के बाद गर्भावस्था नहीं होती है, तो प्रोजेस्टेरोन का स्तर नीचे गिरना शुरू हो जाता है और इससे अन्तःगर्भाशय अस्तर का विघटन होता है जो मासिक धर्म का कारण बनता है। इस प्रकार, प्रोजेस्टेरोन हार्मोन की निकासी मासिक धर्म का तत्काल कारण है।
If pregnancy does not occur after ovulation, progesterone levels begin to drop and this leads to the breakdown of the endometrial lining which causes menstruation. Thus, withdrawal of progesterone hormone is the immediate cause of menstruation.

6. किन्हीं चार विषाणु जनित रोगों के नाम बताइए जो यौन संचारित होते हैं।
Name any four viral diseases which are sexually transmitted.
Ans-: पोलियो , रेबीज , चेचक टाइफॉइड

13. पुष्पी पौधों में निषेचन के बाद की घटनाओं का वर्णन करें।
Describe post-fertilization events in flowering plants.
Ans-: परागण के बाद परागकण वर्तिकान तक पहुँचते हैं, जहाँ पोषक तत्त्वों का अवशोषण कर वृद्धि करते हैं। परागकण से परागनलिका निकलती है, जो वर्तिका से होते हुए बीजांड में प्रविष्ट हो जाती है। बीजांड में अंडाणु से संयुग्मित होकर नरयुग्मक, युग्मनज या जाइगोट बनाता है, जो अंततः भ्रूण का निर्माण करते हैं। निषेचन के उपरांत अंडाशय एवं बीजांड क्रमशः फल एवं बीज में विकसित हो जाते हैं।
After pollination, the pollen grains reach the stigma, where they absorb nutrients and grow. A pollen tube emerges from the pollen grain, which passes through the stigma and enters the ovule. It fuses with the ovum in the ovule to form a male gamete, zygote or zygote, which ultimately forms an embryo. After fertilization, the ovary and ovule develop into fruits and seeds respectively.
